Job Title: Marketing Associate
Department: Business Development
Reports To: Business Development Strategist
Summary: The Marketing Associate is responsible for a variety of marketing and advertising tasks, including managing daily administrative tasks, active social media engagement, and creating marketing materials. The Marketing Associate will also work closely with the Business Development Strategist to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
● Manage social media accounts
○ Regularly posting content to social media platforms
○ Engaging with people reacting to our content
○ Engaging with Social Media posts related to our market, churches, and from partners
○ Building our audience through organic and paid content
○ Encouraging staff engagement (following, sending in content that can be posted)
○ Follow current trends and engage as appropriate
○ Tracking and reporting on metrics
● Create marketing content
○ Create creative content that is engaging and fits with our brand and core values promoting our brand, content, and church putting their Dollars on Mission
○ Graphic/Advertising Design
○ Basic Video Editing
○ Video & photo capture
● Create and manage paid advertising campaigns on social media, Google Adwords, and other platforms
● Create and send communications (external & internal)
○ Scheduling, and sending emails on Mail Chimp to partners and marketing lists
○ Communication with stakeholders for marketing initiatives and opportunities
○ Managing contact databases
● Assist in the production of content such as webinars, podcast episodes, training content, etc.
○ Topic ideation & Research
○ Guest coordination
○ Editing, finalizing, and posting
● Create creative strategies for conferences to help us engage with attendees and capture content for social media.
● Networking with churches, other companies in the market, directories, blogs, podcasts, etc
● Market research
● Weekly marketing team meeting
● Work with the Business Development Strategist to develop and execute marketing campaigns
● Will require occasional travel to be part of conferences, capture content, and other company events.
● Other marketing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● Ability to represent Parable, our Partners, and our Core Values through all marketing interactions.
● Strong understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
● Comfortable interacting on social media and setting up campaigns.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Strong organizational and time management skills.
● Proficient with computers and technology and able to work with various software programs.
Hours & Compensation:
Parable is currently open to hiring the right candidate into a full-time or part-time position.
Salary Range: $40,000- $67,000
