Reports to: Parable Success Lead
Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000/year
Employment Status: Full Time

Job Summary
This role provides an invaluable opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure across all foundational People Operations and Culture functions while connecting your work directly to our purpose: helping churches keep every dollar on mission. This Generalist will be instrumental in establishing reliable processes that support our internal stakeholders as we grow in efficiency and effectiveness. We are seeking someone committed to hospitality-minded support, driving a positive team culture, learning cross-collaboratively, pursuing organizational clarity, and growing professionally within our mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities and Contributions
I. Talent & Culture Alignment
- Talent Scouting: Own the initial screening process. Beyond checking boxes, you will actively look for alignment with Parable’s culture and mission, ensuring we interview high-potential, long-term fits.
- Recruitment Drive: Drive interview logistics and participate as an active interviewer to contribute essential feedback to hiring managers.
- New Stakeholder Onboarding: Own the logistical execution of new stakeholder onboarding. This includes managing all communication prior to Day 1, ensuring all necessary systems are ready, and providing focused support and a welcoming presence to new stakeholders throughout their first week.
- Proactive Planning: Develop and execute a sustainable process for proactive recruitment (e.g., pipeline building) that secures a continuous flow of mission-aligned talent.
II. Communications & Stakeholder Trust
- Operational Hub: Manage all incoming stakeholder inquiries, acting as the centralized resource for intake and organization. Your primary goal is to triage requests and ensure no concern is missed.
- Communication Discipline: Handle all sensitive stakeholder information with strict discretion and confidentiality. For complex issues, ensure prompt confirmation is delivered, assuring stakeholders their concern is managed, followed by efficient escalation to leadership.
- Messaging Execution: Execute our internal communication strategy, paying close attention to timing, tone, and the intended impact of every company announcement or update.
- Pattern Recognition: Identify and document emerging patterns in stakeholder requests to help leadership proactively fix organizational gaps.
III. People Operations & Initiatives
- Event and Vendor Coordination: Coordinate and manage external vendors for cultural events, engagement activities, and supporting marketing efforts, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Process Standardization: Drive organizational clarity by documenting and standardizing processes for repeatable tasks, communication flows, and company-wide initiatives.
- Project Support: Support critical People Operations projects (e.g., policy implementation, system setup) by creating, documenting, and linking various practices, ensuring initiatives land correctly and on time.
- Creative Collaboration: We want your ideas! Contribute creative concepts for culture initiatives and be ready to take initiative and run with approved projects as they arise.
IV. Stakeholder Engagement and Development
- Champion employee engagement initiatives and proactively support the planning of events (both virtual and in-person) with high intentionality for long-term cultural investment.
- Ensure consistency and accessibility of existing training materials to optimize initial onboarding and development for new and transitioning roles.
- Assist in the planning and logistical delivery of professional development and training initiatives for managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a high-touch, professional office, or service environment (prior HR exposure is a strong advantage).
- Demonstrated ability to master new software platforms while effectively managing the critical details required for data integrity and accurate execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to uphold the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
- Experience with Google Workspace Applications (Google Suite).
